PPP Commands – Setup
Command Syntax set ppp <interface> ping-keepalive ping-no-of-packets <1-100>
Description
Sets the number of ping packets to be sent to the server per attempt.
Maximum number of packets is 100.
Default Value
10 packets
Success

Error 1. Too few arguments
Too few arguments. Possible argument(s) are:
ping-host
ping-interval
ping-no-of-packets
Possible value(s) are enable or disable

Invalid argument "invalid string"
Valid arguments are:
ping-host
ping-interval
ping-no-of-packets
Possible value(s) are enable or disable.
Command Syntax set ppp <interface> wakeup-on-call <enable/disable>
Description
Enables/disables the wakeup-on-call feature.
Default Value
Disabled
Success
OK
Error 1. Too few arguments
Possible value(s) are enable or disable.
Command Syntax set ppp <interface> wakeup-delay <1-60> secs
Description
Sets the wakeup-delay. This is time interval between the reception of a ring with
valid caller-id and the initiation of dialing by the modem.
Default Value
10 secs

Possible value(s) are [1..60]
Command Syntax set ppp <interface> wakeup-callerid <callerid-num> <callerid-str>
Description
Configures the caller-id-strings for wakeup-on-call feature.
Example: Set ppp ppp0 wakeup-callerid 1 <callerid>
Set ppp ppp0 wakeup-callerid 1 "XYZ-123"
Important Note:
Use double quotes if more than one word is used in the <callerid-
str>. See line 2 of example above. This holds true for all the following commands
that need a string as a parameter.

All callerid strings are set to NULL
