Enables / disables V.32bis and V.22bis auto

rate. Retrain and fallback are disabled in data

mode. 0 = disable; 1 = enable..

S43 decimal 0–1 1 For testing and debugging only.

Enables / disables V.32bis start-up auto mode

operation. 0 = disable, 1 = enable.

S89 1 sec 0, 5-255 10 Sets the length of time in the off-line command

mode before the modem goes into standby

mode. A value of zero prevents standby mode; a

value of 1-4 sets the value to 5.
